Kathy Ko Chin

Kathy Ko Chin is President & CEO of the Asian & Pacific Islander American Health Forum (APIAHF), which influences policy, mobilizes communities, and strengthens organizations to improve the health of Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians and Pacific Islanders. With strong values from her immigrant parents, Kathy's life’s work has built community institutions that contribute to a just and multiracial society. Among these values is to give back to our country, so for 40 years, she has worked to improve the quality of life, particularly health, for the poor and underserved.

Recognized as an authority on national health policy, Kathy has served on President Obama’s Advisory Commission on Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders. Kathy also is a trustee of the Kresge Foundation.

Kathy is passionate about non-profits and has served as a Board leader, including at Angel Island Immigration Station Foundation, CompassPoint Nonprofit Services, Public Health Institute and California Pan-Ethnic Health Network.
