Geetika Rudra

Geetika Rudra is an amateur history buff with a deep love of American history. The daughter of Indian immigrants from Queens, New York, she lives in Manhattan with her book collection.

Geetika holds degrees from Columbia Journalism School and Columbia College, where she earned her M.S. and B.A. She was a reporter for ABC News, a board member of the South Asian American Journalism Association, and worked on multiple early-stage startups at the intersection of technology and media. She currently works at Chief, a female-founded startup increasing the diversity of executive board rooms. Here to Stay: Uncovering South Asian American History (Rutgers University Press, 2022) is her first book.
