Japanese “Kimekomi” Traditional Doll-Making Workshop – Frog, Owl & More

For the September 6th class, students can choose among the Frog, Owl, Jizo, Daruma, and Goldfish designs.  Shape silk and fabric into a stunning Japanese decorative doll, one piece at a time.  Kimekomi is a traditional Japanese craft with deep cultural roots. Using a wooden base, you tuck colorful silk and fabric into carved grooves to create a beautiful keepsake doll—no sewing required. In this hands-on workshop, our instructor guides you step by step as you bring your own doll to life and take it home.
