Film Screening: In Search of Bengali Harlem

In Search of Bengali Harlem follows filmmaker Alaudin Ullah on a journey from Harlem to Bangladesh as he uncovers his parents’ past and explores the history of South Asian and Muslim American communities in New York City. The film screening will be followed by a Q&A with Ullah, producer and co-director of the film. The 6 p.m. screening is free and open to the public.
