Pro Se Collaborative Habeas Training

This training will help NYC based community advocates and social services workers understand how habeas petitions are used in the immigration detention context and go over the basic elements of a pro se petition for common scenarios that have arose in New York. This training is for non-attorney advocates, including organizers, and others supporting detained community members. Sample filing documents and templates will be provided during the training.
