Screening and Conversation with Dr. Ming Wang: Sight

The film Sight, starring Greg Kinnear, is based on Dr. Ming Wang’s autobiography, From Darkness to Sight, chronicling his journey from childhood in Hangzhou, China, where the dream of becoming a physician was delayed by the challenges of the Cultural Revolution.

The film screening will be succeeded by a discussion between Dr. Ming Wang and Susan Yuqing Feng, Director of Programs at the China Institute, followed by a book signing event of Dr. Wang’s book From Darkness to Sight: A Journey from Hardship to Healing.
