Spotlight on Ryota Nakano: New York Premieres + Director Q&As

Feb 23 - Feb 24

$14 – $18
Part of Family Portrait: Japanese Family in Flux
February 23–24

For the final weekend of our Family Portrait series, we’re thrilled to spotlight the works of award-winning director Ryota Nakano, who has spent his career keenly capturing the complex feelings of families when faced with adversity. His latest film, The Asadas, centers on the power of family in the aftermath of the Fukushima tragedy (featuring a special talk session with the director) and will be presented alongside New York premieres of A Long Goodbye and his 2016 critical hit Her Love Boils Bathwater (followed by a director Q&A and reception).
