As the 2024 elections draw closer, political campaigns are poised for extensive outreach, with an anticipated surge in advertising spending. According to Axios, U.S. elections-related advertising is projected to reach approximately $16 billion.

Local, community and ethnic media in US cities are gearing up to claim a fair share of local political ad dollars. Amidst the tensions and pressures of decision-making involving candidates, campaigns and their advertising plans, community media organizations need to operate with ethical guidelines, editorial integrity, and fairness. This 1.5-hour training will encompass the ethics of political advertising, covering crucial areas:
