The Health & Wellness Needs of New York’s LGBTQ AAPI Briefing

Join CACF and Apicha Community Health Center for a virtual briefing on the findings of Apicha’s newly released needs assessment of the health and wellbeing of New York City’s LGBTQ+ Asian American and Pacific Islander community. In this needs assessment, 344 LGBTQ+ AAPI community members responded to a confidential and anonymous survey, available in nine Asian languages and scripts, as well as focus groups and individual interviews.

CACF’s Data Equity team will also join the briefing to highlight the significance of data disaggregation in the discussion. They will touch on the Invisible No More (INM) campaign, advocating for over a decade to ensure accurate and disaggregated data collection by NYC & NYS governments for our diverse AANHPI communities.
