Ranked Choice Voting Education Training

The June New York City primary elections are just around the corner and there is a new way of voting this year! Learn about Ranked Choice Voting (RCV) with Rank the Vote NYC so that you will be confident in using the new voting system before heading to the polls. This voter education training will explain what Ranked Choice Voting is, why you should rank candidates, and how it works. You’ll be informed messengers so you can spread the word to your friends and family, making sure that all voters are educated on the upcoming changes to our local elections.

Rank the Vote NYC was founded in 2019 to bring Ranked Choice Voting to New York City. After our historic win, we have since shifted to educating voters, candidates & campaigns and community groups on the upcoming changes to our local elections in 2021.

Author Bio

Erica Fu is the Queens organizer for Rank the Vote NYC. A political and community organizer, Erica has worked on a number of political and issue campaigns in New York and Washington DC. Her organizing experiences include working with the City University of New York (CUNY), advocacy organizations, and community leaders around the 2020 Census, voting rights, immigrant rights, and abortion access. She has also managed outreach campaigns with the goal of increasing BIPOC civic engagement and political participation.
