Brooklyn College and CUNY have told the activists fighting for the last 25+ years for an Asian American Studies Program, in some subtle and not-so-subtle ways, that they don't care. The Asian American Studies Project, as part of the Mellon Transfer Student Research Program, is researching that activism, delving into the necessity of AA/AAPI Studies Program at Brooklyn College, and exposing the emotional toll of constant dismissal and invalidation.
