DESCRIPTION:We are excited to present A Story That Lives Within US: Ada — Volume II\, a multidisciplinary group exhibition featuring 17 artists that explores the stories\, memories\, and lived experiences of Taiwanese immigrants in the United States. \nOpening on August 13\, 2026\, at Crossing Art in Chelsea\, New York\, the exhibition brings together contemporary art\, oral histories\, and written narratives to explore migration\, identity\, belonging\, and cultural heritage. \nVolume II focuses on New York City during the 1980s and 1990s\, reflecting the challenges\, transformations\, and resilience of immigrant communities. Through the symbolic journey of Ada Lin\, the exhibition connects personal memories with the evolving history of the city\, creating a space where immigrant stories are preserved and shared across generations. \nThroughout the exhibition\, we will also present public programs and hands-on workshops. SUMMARY:20th Annual OCA-NY Hate Crimes Prevention Art Exhibit
DESCRIPTION:For two decades\, OCA-NY\, in collaboration with local youth organizations\, has organized the annual Hate Crimes Prevention Project (HCPP)\, held every summer in New York City. HCPP is a multicultural project that seeks to spread an awareness of hate crimes prevention\, promote cross cultural awareness\, engage high school students in hate crimes prevention\, and use art as an activism tool by recruiting student interns to coordinate\, develop\, and host an annual art competition for their peers across the city.  \nCome attend the exhibition based on this year’s theme: gentrification and housing. \nExhibit Hours: 12pm to 5pm\, on Aug 14\, 15\, 16\, 19\, 22\, 23 & 24

SUMMARY:NapRyang: Midnight Scream in NY - My Daughter is a Zombie
DESCRIPTION:Director: Pil Gam-Sung \nSynopsis: “My daughter is a zombie—the last remaining zombie in the world.” \nJung-hwan\, a zookeeper who specializes in caring for fierce wild animals\, spends his days bickering with his teenage daughter Su-a\, an aspiring dancer with boundless passion. \nWhen Su-a becomes infected with a zombie virus that has spread across the globe\, Jung-hwan takes her to Eunbong-ri\, a quiet seaside village where his mother\, Bamsoon\, lives\, determined to protect her at all costs. \nAs society grows increasingly intent on identifying and isolating the infected\, Jung-hwan begins to notice signs that Su-a may still retain part of her humanity. She seems to understand human speech\, responds to the dance she once loved\, and even reacts to the sting of her grandmother Bamsoon’s trusty backscratcher. \nRefusing to give up on his daughter\, Jung-hwan draws on his years of experience as a tiger keeper and embarks on an unconventional mission: training his zombie daughter in the hope of bringing her back to herself.
