This series gathers together Japanese summer films spanning seven decades and many of the greatest filmmakers in the nation’s history. SUMMARY:20th Annual OCA-NY Hate Crimes Prevention Art Exhibit
DESCRIPTION:For two decades\, OCA-NY\, in collaboration with local youth organizations\, has organized the annual Hate Crimes Prevention Project (HCPP)\, held every summer in New York City. HCPP is a multicultural project that seeks to spread an awareness of hate crimes prevention\, promote cross cultural awareness\, engage high school students in hate crimes prevention\, and use art as an activism tool by recruiting student interns to coordinate\, develop\, and host an annual art competition for their peers across the city.  \nCome attend the exhibition based on this year’s theme: gentrification and housing. \nExhibit Hours: 12pm to 5pm\, on Aug 14\, 15\, 16\, 19\, 22\, 23 & 24
